I have an irritated or "pinched" nerve on the outside of my thigh and in my groin which occurred after a radical laporscopic prostatectomy. I am in extreme pain if I do not take some very strong pain medication prescribed by my physician. It also impacts my ability to walk. Is this a normal occurrence and how long should it last?
