My daughter just moved to Hawaii (from Los Angeles) leaving me with her two cats... Alley, a female brown tabby that follows you around everywhere like a shadow, and Timmy, a male black cat that lurks around like a puma and uses the toilet to go to the bathroom (pretty neat). The problem is that I learned early on that I have an allergic reaction to cat hair, and I cannot keep them. It is unaffordable to send them over to Hawaii, and so I need to find a no-kill shelter in Los Angeles. I have checked with the Glendale Humane Society (no-kill), but they have no room there. I have also posted adoption requests on the GHS and Petfinder.com websites, but have had no responses. Any suggestions?? Otherwise, I will need to take them to the Pasadena Humane Society later today, and there they will most likely be euthanized.
