My sons were witness to a man being beaten(the man later dies) They tried to stop the two guys who were beating the man but couldn't stop them. So my sons ran. They didn't know that the man had been beaten up was that bad. Anyways the two sisters that were there laughing, cheering them on are now saying that my 17yr old was the main attacker and that my 19 yr old was involved. The two guys that did it are now on the run. The guy that was the actual attacker has a very violent past. Both of my boys have cooperated fully with the police. Can they file murder charges on my son with just the statements from those girls. According to the police they have caught both of the girls in several lies on their statements already. But they are telling my 17 yr old he is looking at life or the death penaly. My other son is looking at 10 plus yrs!!
