If teachers are going to be accountable then how will you ensure that parents and students are held accountable as well? Also, what measures what a good teacher is- test scores? How about when it takes us 4-6 months to make a child feel self-confident, aware that he/she has the same chance as everyone else when they have been seen as troublemakers, slow, or just another immigrant- How about that time period when at the same time quizzes, district tests, and any summative tests are given? Mr. President would you be willing to teach my students for a year? Can you ensure that their score will come out high?
