It sounds like your mother has some unresolved issues plaguing her heart. Most likely because she tried to "get over it." You need healing or this may continue to hurt you, and eventually, your child. You should go to your mom, show her the pictures, and tell her how it made you feel. Your mom will probably apologize and you'll share a wonderful heart felt moment engulfed with tears. However, weather that last sentence happens or not, tell your mom "I FORGIVE YOU!!!" If you have to, repeat "I forgive you, mom" every day untill these words bring you joy. Then you will know in your heart that you really do forgive your mom. As for your mom, tell it in her ears only once, and let it drop right there! This confrontation may help your mom get over her issues, also. There is a really awesome release that takes place when you truely forgive someone. Also, the wieght of that grudge will continue to wiegh you down, and will continue to get heavier until you finally let go. It will also affect the people who are around you in a negative way. You, and they, deserve beter than that. So, don't waste any time, get this off your shoulders A.S.A.P. Besides, you got better and more important things to think about.
