How is it that if you have a set of data, x1,y1....xn,yn with a known linear relationship between x & y (y = mx + c), and the best straight line fit MUST go through xbar, ybar (xbar average of all x values, ybar is average of all y values).

Men

(This is a strange question) Do you think a beautiful women has control over men? ( not that I want to do that) I'm just interested. Since when I was 18 I had a statistics tutor who was known for being tough on his students. I was super pretty when I was 18 and i'd dress up really nicely for him. For some reason he'd almost cave in when he tutored me.

A woman only has as much control over a man as he lets her have. Unfortunately, men are suckers for a pretty face and body. But any woman worth having would never respect a man who let her control him like that.

Men are naturally attracted to women they consider to be beauties. I speak from experience.

Of course your looks play a big role in getting things. The prettier you are the  more likely you will get almost anything your heart desires. If we looked past how we see people and only view people for who they are then we can treat the other with respect. But until that day we are only going to have respect of persons.
