How does the new cast of Melrose Place compare to the old version?

I think it's a pretty good cast. I need to see a few more episodes to really decide if I like the show, but I have high hopes!
Not only do I fall down stairs, I trip up them as well. Now that takes talent!
The cast from the original Melrose Place was amazing. I don't think this new cast will be half as good.
