Low Oxygen Saturation rate

I haven't been feeling well for most of this year.  I was experiencing irregular heartbeats and fatigue and shortness of breat. I had a monitor on for about a week.  My doctor never called me w/ results so I assumed all was fine.  Recently I've been feeling horrible.  Extreme fatigue, irregular heartbeats (although not as often as before), lightheaded, and VERY dizzy, especially when I lie down and really generally feeling lousy.  I'm only 43 years old however I do have Pulmonary Stenosis.  I was diagnosed when I was 18.  It's never been a problem.  Today I went to the doctor for the above symptoms and because I thought I might have a virus.  Everything looked fine however she decided to check my blood pressure, pulse and Oxygen Saturation while I was lying down, sitting and standing.  When I laid down I immediately became extremely dizzy and my oxygen sats dropped to 90%.  Everything I've read says this is NOT good.  But my doctor didn't send me to the hospital.  She wants me to have an echocardiogram but they aren't moving very fast to do anything about it.  Should I be extremely worried or seek alternative medical treatment??
