My daughter had a wreck when she was 15 years old and has paid on it forever. She is now 30 years old and with four children. She had financial difficulties and could not keep up with the payments. The insurance company got a judgement against her and she lost her licence. She has repeadedly tried to make payment arrangements with them for $50.00 a month. As this is all she can afford to send and they refuse to accept anything under the full amount. She needs her licence in order to even be able to get to work, get kids to school, daycare, doctors appointments or grocery store. Is there a way she can ask the judge or court to readjust the judgement more reasonably. She can't even afford the necessities for her children and daycare costs. She has three school age and one baby. I'm disabled and can't babysit anymore so she has to pay for after school daycare and the whole day for the baby! Then the cost of getting to work and back. Theres not much left to pay morgage and utility bills. Much less to even be able to buy food for her and four children. Even worse when someone needs medical care. Is there some kind of hardship licence or restructure she can request of the judge? She can't afford an attorney. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thankyou, Lynn
