Ask Eric Stromer a question here. Recently I purchased kitchen cabinets from Lowes. The installer came out to my home to measure and the designer did a follow up.
My house was built in 1958.
I ordered large cabinets that would start at the ceiling.
Once the cabinets were installed it appeared that they were not flush to the ceiling. I'm told that the door style will not allow for even the tiniest molding.
I wish the designer had the foresight to suggest that, since this was an older home with lots of settling, that I not get the cabinets that would reach the ceiling. However, what's done is done.
Is there anything I can do to improve the look of the cabinets at the ceiling level (or unlevel as it it is)? The cabinets per se are very nice. And, God knows, I would not want to go through the hassle of sending them back.
Right now I do not have a picture, but I could get one to you this weekend. In the meantime, I hope you have some suggestion.
Thank you,
