Leif Andreas Larsen AKA Karl Larsen

Leif Andreas Larsen artist norway. I am trying to find out info on this artist. He was a famous fishing boat captain during WWll who used his fishing boats to slip supplies past the nazi warships. He has signed his painting Karl Larsen. He has done several paintings that were displayed in the United Stated in Michigan. If anyone has any info on him I would be very thankful.
