Hello Newman-
One trick is to start off w/ bean bags. They are more manly than scarves and they won't bounce away from you. Work with one object at a time. Throw up and down with one hand so you can get the same height every time. Do same with other hand. Do it without looking.
Then from one hand to another. Face a wall and keep beanbag or whatever following same arc, same height, on same plane, landing in right place. Do it without looking.
Start learning patterns at that point. Pick up bean bag off floor 1500 times. You can juggle!
Indoor lacrosse balls are weighted best for juggling and they bounce well for fancy stuff. Once you can do 3 balls well, graduate to plastic clubs asap, when you throw and spin them, it feels cool and has a momentum of its own. Enjoy it.
