Why only Israel?

As an American, I fail to understand why it is demanded that Israel concede all the territory for a Palestinian home, but neighboring islamic nations such as Egypt or Jordan offer none at all? Why is the entire onus for a 2-state solution lie entirely on the shoulders of Israel--tell me why is no one negotiating from that perspective?

Love is the battery of life....

Very smart thinking...... I wish many would think in the same way (and apply it!).  That should be THE final solution too.

No, Emma, it did not. Palestine was never a country or a state. It was the name given by the Roman occupation forces to a region they were administering, a region far larger than modern day Israel. There was never an Arab Palestinian king or ruler until Arafat. There was never a separate country called Palestine. The Post WW1 Palestine Mandate in the 20th century was used to create two states, an Arab state, Jordan, and a smaller state, Israel. It has only been in recent times that the discussion about a 'Palestinian state' has emerged, and most people have incorrectly assumed that the Palestinian people are, in fact, a displaced minority, when in fact they are no such thing at all.
