On behalf of my 83 year old mother who lives in Toronto and who has recently underdone radiation therapy for lung cancer and suffers from acute arthritic pain, I have some questions I was hoping you could answer for me.
1. Is she elegible for in-home care from CACC and how would she go about getting it? She is ambullatory now and walks with a walker
2. Is she elegible for nursing home care should the time come when she would need that? and
3. Would you please provide names and telephone numbers of people who might be able to help me help her with this.
Any assistance you can provide would be of great help and much appreciated. I am living in the USA and will be visiting her in Oct.
