I'm looking to adopt a child 4 years old or younger. I don't have a lot of money but I do have a lot of love to give! Any advice or help would be much appreciated.
There are adoption agencies that are there for this very purpose. Of course they will check that you're not some criminal, but I know that they are very happy when people come along wanting to adopt a child. Try that way and see how it goes.
Adoption is usually pretty expensive. We adopted both of our daughters at birth. Adoption laws vary state by state (FYI- foreign adoption is even more expensive). I think a great way for you to approach this would be to become a foster parent and let the state know that you are hoping to eventually adopt. Good luck!

Thank you.
Do you know what I have the same problem that you have. I don't have a lot of money but a whole lot of love.
