Impending fear of colonoscopy

please help me. I,ve been in the psychiatric wing of the hospital 4 times. Three times because of dental work and once because of an impending colonoscopy. I,m so scared of having a colonoscopy, I don,t know what to do. I,ve been drinking and smoking a lot because of this fear. What am I going to do?

I,m so scared of having a colonoscopy, I don,t know what to do.

I will take one more shot here, DramaQueen. Yes, you do know what to do. Refuse the test and have dying from colon cancer as an issue for yourself OR have the test after the anesthesiologist has administered conscious sedation.
