2002 cadillac dts my car is running with a higher than normal rpm.In park it is 1,500 rpm.When i press on the accelerator it will hang up @ 2-3,000 rpm!It used to be about 750 rpm when the engine warms up. When driving it is about 1,100 rpm.This problem seems to occur when i hit the gas to go faster & after i've been driving for while.I believe i checked the idle switch (i believe it has a cable tied in on throttle next to the accel. Cable)& it seemes to be returning back to its normal position the cable has a little play.If i dissconnect the mas the engine will either rev up or sputter.Where should i go from here?I do have a actron cp9180 the firist code was p0650 mil contol ckt malfunction also idle control system rpm above expected p0507.Also service engine soon mil is illuminated.Any help would be appreciated.Thanx
