I've been told that the pressure release vent on my hot water tank is hooked up is a problem. The flexible copper pipe is coming horizontally out of the top of the tank, then goes up in an arc before it comes down vertically and exits the building. Aparently water can collect in the part that is horizontal and not drain out causing it to rust. Do I need to get this fixed? Thank you.
