Linda,
There are several methods for doing this, but I find the following the easiest.
Assuming that you have enough "Free Space" remaining on your Memory Stick you first need to (Locate) the database file on the "C" drive.
Once you find the file in question, make sure that your cursor is directly over the filename, then "Right Click" on your mouse.
You should see a dialogue box come up that gives you several options such as (Copy, Paste, Send To), etc.
You will need to select the "Send To " option, and then look for your Memory Stick.
It should be displayed as a "Drive Letter" such as (E), (F), (G), (H), (I), etc, and MAY even show with the manufactures name displayed.
Select the appropriate Drive Letter that corresponds to your Memory Stick then click "Send To" and your file will now be stored on your Memory Stick.
 I hope this helps... Laughing

God Bless,

Ken Lacy

Dear Ken, I did what you said and it worked perfectly. Thank you so very, very much. CareWork is a database program that my volunteer organization uses to record and track all of the transportation services we give to those, mostly older people but not always, who are no longer able to drive to medical appts. and some shopping. We, the volunteers, take turns keeping all of the record books-usually two or three weeks at a time. So, because of that we need to transfer updated information back and forth from the flash drive and our own computers to be able to pass on to the next volunteer. So, my next question is - when transferring the updated information back to the flash drive, is the process the same as you just described but in reverse. The program itself has an update process but it always goes to a zip drive which many of us are not skilled enough to use. Thanking you again for all of your help. In church this morning I was thinking about how we would figure all of this out, and then you dropped out of the sky. Thank you.

Sincerely, Linda Kilpatrick

Linda,

I'm glad that I could Bless your group with this information. To answer your other question, you are correct, just do the reverse of what you did here.

If you have any problems, just shoot me a line, and I'll see what I can do to help.

Be Blessed...

Ken
