Higher education for me???

How can I go back to college fulltime? I am a 41 year old single mother of 2. One college student and another one graduating  higgh school this year. I have my HS diploma and did attend college breifly but never had the chance to go back. I am tired of making less than everyone I work with and never being promoted because I don't have a degree. I would love to have the opportunity for an education but I don't want to lose my home and car.

TAKE ON-LINE CLASSES and apply for student loans and scholarships.

Education is very important if you want to get a better paying job.

If you have the desire, determination and patience, you'll succeed.  Good luck to you.

By the way, Nursing is a great profession.

Online education might work better for you than traditional learning, so that you can work around your job and kids. Visit core4women.org, a support group for women in online education (with expert mentors who can help answer your questions). Check out scholarships, online degrees, and career info at geteducated.com (scholarships are listed in the Financial Aid section).

i am attending devry university for health information technology a 2 yr course and i have 3 kids its alot of work but at home, also national college has courses that you can do during the weekdays or nights that will take about nine months to complete, when i was considering going my classes were like 5:45pm to 10:30 pm, very hard to do with a job but would be over in about 9 months, community colleges might do hybrid courses (class & internet combo) which are great

I can understand your situation of wanting to continue your education. I  would like to do the same but am less able to  than you are. I am almost 50. I don't know  what  career you'd like to persue  or what  courses you would like to take.  Maybe if you  would  mention that,  it would make it easier for others to give better advice. I wish you good luck.   You are admirable.
