I have a long shallow 1-2 acre pond on my property. Its mucky and full of green water. It's not polluted with farm runoff etc, just neglected for many years. We are going to start an aeration system and begin adding adding bacteria to clear the muck.
But I want advice on putting back the fish that it once had and/or ideas on carp It had mussels that dissappeared twenty years ago. I want them back to clear the Algae. Where can I buy freshwater mussels for my pond? This is in NJ
