"Most people see things as they are, and ask, 'why'? But I think of things that never were, and ask, 'why not'?" -- George Bernard Shaw.
What's the best way to lose weight, permanently? (I'm not that active, so I don't do too much excericse. Any diet ideas?)
If you battle with you weight now, then you will always battle with it. It might sound harsh, but it is the truth. You must change your lifestyle. It isn't just about eating right or just about exercise but BOTH. In order to lose weight you must burn more calories then you eat. The way to do this is with exercise. This site should help guide you a bit on the nutrition side of things (although I do recommend a nutritionist). Also start running, or biking, or doing dance classes 3-4 times a week (for at least 30 minutes-getting your heart rate up). Make it a habit and after 3 weeks your body will start to feel the difference. A healthy weight loss program will let you lose 1-3 Kilos a week. I know this does not sound like a lot, but this is the way to keep off the weight in the long run instead of these binge diets that a person can not last more then two months on). Good luck and happy exercising.
