Hi,
Growing up we would just sink metal fence stakes in to the ground and stretch bird netting from post to post. It was simple, fast and worked well. Don't use a net with too tight a weave otherwise it will not only be harder for the peas to hook on, but also harder to remove the vines come fall once the plants die.
