Gee, you just noticed?

I agree. Massivemail.com debt has been declining the US for way too long. So where were you with these great observations during the 8 years of insane reckless spending during the Bush yeers? How come the top 1% of Americans own such a large portion of American money, and what exactly is the talent(?) CEO's possess that earns them 100's an 1000's of times more money than people who actually work and produce something for a living? Now I'm all for free enterprise, the American dream, and certainly not against anyone becoming rich, but does talent only pertain anyone really needs to make 100 MILLION DOLLARS a year producing nothing while laying off Americans and giving their jobs to low paid workers in 3rd world nations? Over at the Heritage Foundation refabricating facts to point your fat fingers at the next administration, while securing endless war profiteering for private contractors while brave young men and women risk and give their lives so Cheney's stock in Haliburton swells like a pregnant rabbit? While Americans loses jobs, health care and starves? And whats wrong with socialized medicine? We can't all work for the American Industrial Complex, you know? Is it an economically sound policy to support all these private contractors in the middle east when constantly ignoring the fact that they out number the troops risking their lives for false ideals? When will a serious inquiry happen concerning the demolition of the events of 9.11 with answers that don't break the laws of physics and plain simple belief ever happen? Was it REALLY done by a guy living in a cave in Afghanistan, while the rest of his family was attending a little party over at the White House? Is their any sane and rational human beings who actually believe that Glen Beck and Bill O'Reilly are actually journalists, not to mention sane and rational? Opps, never mind, based on my assumption that I still possess a sliver of a sense of reality left after all these year of getting it beaten down by FOX News, I believe I already have the answer to that question.Undecided

I have lots of questions, but it appears to be that all the answers seem to either get mixed up in secret matters of National Security or calling me insulting names while ignoring them doesn't really answer them, now does it??

Steev, Say it again, and again, and again!!!! I cannot, and it appears that you cannot, fathom what has happened to this country. Well, I can't either. On the one side of the coin you have the extreme right wing fanatics who wish turn the clock backwards to the Dark Ages when "witches were burned at the stakes." And Galeleo was kept under house arrest for the remainer of his life because he dared tell the Pope that the Earth revolved around the sun and not the other way around. This warped thinking still exists and will go on until the extreme right wakes up and realizes that things are different since the Inquisition of the 14th, 15th and 16th Centuries. To me, it is a VERY frightening world we live in today. Give me back my childhood in the early fourties and I will be happy again. Good job!!! Michael Joel Held

Steev, you are exactly right.  People seem to be unaware of the massive disparity in this country regarding income and wealth.  This will eventually bring serious discord when this sinks in.  All the massive spending during the Reagan, Bush Sr., and W was largely on a giant credit card, and left our country in a horrible mess.  Obama has to spend to keep the country from slipping into another great depression.

Dear Steve, in the email that I sent when I saw your answer the first time, I wish to thank you for your persistence in support of your arguments. It is interesting, to me, that i just asked a question of Mikebuilder. The question was simple and straightforward. "Would the Republicans say to their government, "I don't need my Social Security, Medicare, or Medicade?" Of course they would not. It is apparent to me that Republicans speak with a "forked tongue." On one hand they decry how Socialistic (Communistic) the Universal Health Coverage Bill is, but they never seem to address how Social Security, Medicare and Medicade came about. Seems strange to me how the Republicans, little and middle peoples wish not to have something that would be a boon to them. I just don't understand how a Republican's mind works? Well, I am glad that I was brought up in a Democratic household who understood how difficult a life it was without some help from the Government. By the way, if these Republicabs would check what Socialism v. Communism is, they would find that Socialism is preferable to Communism. Anyway, Communism failed and collapsed on its own volition. Europe, with its Socialistic societies, are doing all the better than we appear to be doing. Thanks for your comments. I always find them to be extremely erudite. Michael Joel Held
