My urine is foamy, my Dr. said that there's protein in it, and for me to take Cipro for 5 days this should clear it up , Is there something else going on with my kidneys
Everything I say can be fully substantiated by my own opinion.
The doctor has made a correct initial evaluation, about protein in the urine. If the antibiotic doesn't work, he will probably run more tests or refer you to a Urologist. It may be a kidney disorder or something in your diet.
However, according to the Glickman Kidney Institute, foamy urine is not a symptom of cancer.
