The kids are asking for a Flip UltraHD Camcorder. I hear this is little bigger camcorder than the MinoHD. Do you think the size difference would be too hard for an 11 yr old to handle? Is the Flip UltraHD Camcorder easy to operate?
I don't know the key to success, but the key to failure is trying to please everybody.

We have a Flip UltraHD. My 14 yr. old son's been using it for a school audio/visual project & he loves it. His AV club is learning how to film documentaries. He says the camcorder is pretty well balanced & the display is clearer than those of some of the other kids in the class. Sorry - he wasn't specific about which models. He & another kid have the same model, the Flip UltraHD Camcorder, 120 Minutes, and some of the other kids keep bugging him to borrow it for their projects!
My son still is waiting for his final growth spurt - so his hands are small for his age. So I guess it depends on how small your 11 year old is, but 11 & 14 years old aren't that far apart. Good luck & let us know how you like the Flip UltraHD model.
