Family Member?

Death record Mexico, Rocky Point for Shelly Ann Pickering 2/6/2007, My maiden name was Pickering imagine my shock when in RP,Mexico cemetary I saw the cemetary plot for Shelly Ann (DOB7/8/1972) in scribed Beloved Daughter. I wish to locate her family to see if they are related to me. I am not fluent in Spanish so Town Hall was not helpful. I did locate the funeral home but they do not keep the records. It is unusual for a young American to be buried in this cemetary very few older Americans are there. Anyone with information I would greatly appreciate it. Sharron Pickering

Who owns the cemetary? If they have a office in the cemetary, you could ask there. They would certainly have a record of who paid for the plot and possibly a relative. At least that would give you somewhere to start. Also, you can get a copy of the newspaper if you know which one serves that area. The newspaper would have all pertinent information you are seeking.Hope this helps.

This cemetary is Mexican in Rocky Point Sonora Mexico there is no one at the cemetary and the municipal office was no help as I am not fluent in Spanish and no English speaking was there. I am try to get a translator to help me when I go back. I am trying now to see if anyone knows the family or what city she came from. I do know she was killed in a motorcycle accident, the funeral home told me that but had no records of her family that provided burial.
