Excessive underarm sweat?

Natural way to control excessive underarm sweat?

I'm not talking damp patches, I mean puddles. I have tried all types of deodorants but to no avail.

(Sorry, I should have mentioned, I also tried antiperspirant.)

Any ideas on how to stop underarm sweat?

If you are concerned about excessive underarm sweat you might be suffering from Hyperhidrosis, my brother had the condition.

Hyperhidrosis is excessive sweating not related to heat. You will sweat even if it's cold. My brother had excessive hand, armpit, and feet sweating. It was so bad he was embarassed to shake hands and didn't want to meet new people or go to social functions. He was permanently with dark sweat stains on his shirts.

It's a common problem and treatments include botox injections, and even surgery!

I don't know how bad your underarm sweating is (whether it causes public embarrassment and / or hinders social interaction), but before you take any drastic actions I suggest you visit stop excessive sweating and start living .

They offer excellent advice and a completely natural method to stop excessive sweating. I can recommend the site as it's where my brother went to cure his condition.

Anyway, hope that helps, and I hope you manage to stop your excessive underarm sweat.

You can also talk to your doctor about possible treatments. Sometimes excessive sweating can be a symptom of another problem. So even if you chose a natural treatment, you should check with your Doctor first. Good luck! :)

Anne, You did not mention "antiperspirint". I have bought deoderants and had same problem. The label has to have both deoderant and antiperspirant.

You can try Drysol for excessive underarm sweat - its' a prescription deodorant that works wonders for underarm, hand and foot sweating. Apply it before bed time to your hands, feet, armpits or anywhere else that you sweat.

Just apply it once a day - this stuff is Clinical Strength. Beware of irritation - you may have to take a day or two off from this excessive sweat treatment if your skin gets too dry, sensative or red with a rash.

A good antiperspirant can usually help stop light to mild excessive armpit sweat. Go for prescriptive strength antiperspirant as they tend to be stronger than those normally sold over-the-counters.

If your sweating is caused by psychological issues such as anxiety, stress or depression, you can try talking to your doctor and he may prescribe  antidepressants drugs to help you control the sweating. Mediation and self hypnosis are also natural ways to help stop sweating related to anxiety issues.

Try certain dry? I have the same problem, and tried many things. My husband has problems with sweaty feet and he uses certain dry on his feet, so I got some and tried it. It takes about a week to start working properly.
