Excessive shedding by dog

My dog is an EXCESSIVE shedder. She is only 10 lbs, but I can't pick her up because I could make another coat out of her loose hair. I tried the special foods, the fur buster brush, the bathing her weekly, I love her but am loosing my mind with this. Everything I wear has hair on it and as a professional it is very stressful to me. HELP!!! I don't want to give her away

I wish I had an answer for you that could explain the excessive shedding. It's normal for dogs to shed, just like humans do, so I do not know if the amount of hair your dog is shedding is considered normal or excessive. I did find a helpful hints website for dog owners to share regarding how to deal with shedding. I am attaching the link here and hope that it can be of some help to you.
