they are checking to see the average size of the pulverised rock. this leads to the calculations of drainage vs support equals durrability and life expectancy.

They are checking the gradation size,amount of aggregate in comparison to fines and lime material as they can not use a nuke gage to test relative compaction becouse the lime throws the gage way out of wack.

I don't have the exact pulverization test for the aggregate you specify.  However, it sounds like you're mixing 12,000 PSI concrete for a runway.
