Difficult puzzle

i'm on the first floor of a 3 story building-there are 3 light switches-on the 3rd floor is a light bulb-which light switch turns on light bulb

Instant Person-Just add coffee.

Turn one switch on for ten minutes and then turn it off. Then turn the second switch on and leave it on. Go upstairs. If the light is on, then it's the second switch. If it's off, but hot, then it's the first switch. If it's cold and off, it's the third switch. However, you do need to actually go upstairs for this one, and you didn't mention that, so ???????
