netbooks are smaller notebook laptops. they focus more on mobility as they are half the size of notebooks, but they lack the storage capacity of notebooks almost all of them caters small hard drives. they also processors modified for mobility and not for performance. but as you only want to surf the net while being mobile then i think netbook would be your choice but be careful in choosing as most also has shorter battery life compared to notebooks.
