Chocolate squares vs chocolate morsels

I bought semi-sweet chocolate squares. Can I use it in the place of the chips/morsels. What is the equivalent use to the ounce?

You can definitely use chocolate squares in place of chocolate chips- just chop them up to the size you want. Use 6 ounces of chocolate per 1 cup chocolate chips called for.

Sue you can.  no problem. weigh them on your kitchen scale or measure by the cup to substitute for the chips.  be sure to chop up the squares either in a blender or by hand.
