TVLand.com. Gentlemen: My husband is 77 and I am 71. We dearly enjoy "the oldies, but goodies" programs that used to be on TVLand. Do you really think people of our age want to see a 40 year old woiman dating 20 year old men? Do we care about watching a wreck of a Joan Rivers, trying to recapture her youth? Do we care about "She's Got The Look"? NO!!! Give us our old programs back like: Kojak, Starsky and Hutch, The Odd Couple, Cagney and Lacey, Barnaby Jones, Alien Nation, Hardcastle and McCormick, Chips, Diagnosis Murder, T.J. Hooker, Mod Squad, Matt Houston, Ironside, Rip Tide, Happy Days, Father Dowling Mysteries, to name a few. It's comforting for us older folks to go back to a simplier place in time. We don't really want to catapulted into the wants, desires, and hub bub of today's younger people. If the Boomers want to watch the stuff you're putting on the air today them give them a "Boomer" station of their own.
