I once heard a recorded presentation by an herbalist/nutritionist titled "Dead Doctors Don't Lie." In the lecture, a story was related about a lowly outhouse maintenance serviceman whose job it was to empty out the receptacle when it filled up with the human waste. He would pour the slurry through a mesh screen to trap any large, insoluable items. What was trapped in that screen after hosing everything else through were hundreds of undisolved pills, capsules and tablets, mostly of the Centrum variety. (There were other brands too, but mostly Centrum, I recall.) Bottom line (no pun intended), this and many other brands simply do not disove or get absorbed by the body, so what nutritional value that may be present, simply passes through the body without being used. That is some expensive waste product. You should buy mineral tablets or capsules that can be readily absorbed by the body, and are chelated (bound) with organic molecules, and/or colloidal, in a liquid, suspended state (best). Vitamins must also be from minimally process sources. Suggestion: Contact Nature's Sunshine Products. These are very high quality, mail order products.
