Why not ask his parents for the address where you can write him?

Instant Person-Just add coffee.

Move on--why wait 5 years for something that might not happen.  At that point in time, he might still consider you more of a sister figure and you will have wasted five years of your life. It's been four months and he hasn't written to you.  Why?

There's an old saying "absence makes the heart grow fonder--for someone else."

Life is too short--move on and look for your true love.  When you find him, you will find true happiness.

First off, how old are you?  If your in your teens or very early 20's, I suggest you keep in contact by writting him.  You can learn a great deal about a person by letters.  As for waiting 5 yrs., I would'nt put my life on hold.  Go out and live your life then after he gets out and home again then see what happens with him.  Alot can change in that time.  Good luck.
