And yet so different, liberals and Conservatives are so far apart with regards to the issues. Is there anyway that we can bridge the gap between the parties and begin to work together?

It has been said over and over again that the Liberals are moving away from our Constitution and the ideals of our founding fathers. So, I am curious? What makes a liberal? For instance why do many of you folks side with the ideals of choice than the reality of life? Why do so many liberals want to grow government? What would the ideal liberal America be like in the future? Do you think Obama will be able to succeed in his objectives?

The only way to have a united America again is to get rid of the socialist/lefties in our political system. The left has always used race, money, people to gain their goals...THE DISTRUCTION OF OUR CONSTITUTION AND FREEDOM IN AMERICA!

everyone cares about the domestic issue concerning our country...the difference is that the socialist believe government should do all and own all. People we are in for the fight of our lives and our children and grandchildren depend on our being brave patriotic informed citizens. We are living with the results of over 50 years of socialist grabbing.....this will not be easy. Just remember to stop them be voicetrous and stand your ground. NO MORE GOVERNMENT INTERVENTIONS WITH FAILING COMPANIES....NO MORE GOVERNMENT PROGRAMS!!!!!!

Ever since Obama got elected I have been dumbfounded. He is already breaking political promises and continues to grow the welfare state. So how can Americans become independent when Government has been responsible for making people dependent? So many Americans believe that we need a Nanny to take care of us? Where in our consititution does it say that Government is suppose to be so controlling?

brilliant respose I agree with giving a chance- been republican all my families life (generations of capitalists) but some times different is not wrong. I give up my politics in order to fan some flames of hope for this country.
