what will happen to the bandwidth that television left when they went digital. can it be used by anyone? who owns it? is the government involved?
Everything I say can be fully substantiated by my own opinion.
The Federal Communications Commission auctioned off the frequencies in 2008. The auction netted nearly 20 Billion Dollars, with Verizon & AT&T obtaining 4/5 of the licenses. The bandwidth will be used mostly for mobile and wireless internet connections.
