I own a single family dwelling (built 1967) that has attic access through a space in my hallway. The access space (30"x23") is covered by a metal plate beneath which is a light bulb fixture that can be swing up into the attic for lighting, or be used (which it normally is) for lighting the hallway through a prismatic plastic sheet. This sheet is supported by a rectangular frame kept in place by two spring clips at each side.--Now my problem: The spring clips are damaged and won't work to keep up the frame. I need the clips--or worst comes to worst, the entire frame.
Does anyone know where I could get the clips or the frame (including clips)?
