How do you calculate Kenetic Energy into joules

Hi, -------- Kinetic energy = 0.5*m*v^2 if you take the mass in k"g (kilogrames) and the velocity in m/s (meter per second) than you'll automatically get the energy in joules. ------- Best regards,
