Ask Eric Stromer a question here.Ripped off ! Bad choice For Florida old couple

5AAsk Eric Stromer a question here.Hi Eric: HELP  I am a 59 yr old women who is caring for the love of my life of 40 yrs. I am not having a good year, I bought a double wide mobile home after losing my house in a florida sink hole,  that was not covered by my insurance..(rip off) The central heat and air is unfixable so my home is very damp and cold at this point. We are trying to save for a new one but that won't happen any time soon, back to my problem, not realizing it when we bought this 30,000.00 home we had a bad leak from my water heater. I did put in a new hot water heater but My Problem is the floors are caving in from water damage. I have no choice but to repair these holes myself, there are a few small spots and one big one that I know of ,Hiring someone is out of the question no money, used it all to buy this home. MY husband can't kneel down at all ,so it's on me to repair it.  Any advice on how to start this is  Greatly NEEDED. Thank You Joanne Muller Largo Florida..

Dear Madam:  I am so sorry about your prediciment.  This repair job is not all that easy for anyone especially a lady of your age.  My suggestion would be to contact Habitat for Humanity..Any organizations catering to the elderly...local churches...even social security.  Don't be afraid to ask.  The worst that could happen is that their answer will be no.  Also, don't let your pride get in the way of asking..Most of the places mentioned are longing to hear from you.  This is the sort of thing they live for.  They are anxious to help!!!
