Aol toolbar partially disappeared

The third line of my aol toobar disappeared--the one with the forward and back buttons for web browsing and the heart for favorites. It was briefly superimposed and moved halfway to the left (and half off screen) on top of or underneath another line of the toolbar, but now it is not showing at all. The AOL Help topics did not help. How can I get it back?

I have found no cure or cause for the problem. I downloaded AOL 9.1 and I am using that instead of 9.0. I tried opening 9.0 hoping it had fixed itself, but no luck. It has happened to many people. Before posting here, I looked on an AOL help forum and there was a list of people with the same problem and no cure.

I've been having the problem for a while now, about the same length of time that my customized favorites carousels have been reverting back to the default. Of 7 screennames, only my Master/Administrator account is continually missing the toolbar section with favorites, address bar, stop/refresh/back up buttons, etc. Used to be, some or all would restore if I reboot but now that doesn't work either. Has anyone taken the time to call or I-chat with AOL? (I know that's usually a waste of time but that doesn't mean we shouldn't try. But, no, I'm not volunteering! )

This happens to me alot too. I haven't figured out why, but I did find a quick way to get it back. I just go to sign off and choose switch screen name. I still click on the same screen name I was using and it will come right back. This is the only way I have gotten it back w/ out signing completely off.

Thank you! This problem has been happening for quite some time and it is so aggravating to see that it's suddenly disappeared. I always shut down to get the toolbar back but this solution is quicker. I wish AOL would resolve this issue... sorry if this displays twice- It wouldn't display the page when I first sent this reply. AOL-
