Andrea - while I can't be certain, the above answer seems to be coming from someone who works for Amazon, and while it overviews what the Kindle 2 features are, it points to links that may be general reviews that are from actual users, I don't know, and can't say, but as I indicated in my above answer, every person has a reason or reasons of their own that they may want to have addressed specifically. it's hard in a review to get that specificity. Clearly, we can all find out what features all three Kindles have, which you clearly did by your awareness of it, and I understand that they also recently reduced the price, which makes it more attractive. You didn't say specifically what you did not like about the Kindle, and keeping that in mind, along with the fact that those of us who purchase electronic readers are more likely to be avid readers, what may seem like a small thing to one person by way of a feature may make the difference between purchasing one and avoiding it.
