Milk allergy diagnosed at 8 weeks of age. Allergy testing done at 1 year, skin prick test and RAST testing. All came back negative. Introduced milk into her diet (1 oz) allergy symptoms appeared withing a few hours. Allergist said it is a non-ige response, but I have no clue what that means! I asked, but didn't get a clear answer...I am a teacher, not a doctor who understands all that medical terminology!!
