Algebra

I'm having difficulty finding the LCM of (3+7y), (9-49y^2), and (3-7y). Can someone please help. I know I have to factor the above to come up with the LCM. Here is what I have so far, then I become lost.

(3+7y)= 1 * 3 * 1 * 7 * y = 1 * 1 * 3 * 3 * 7 * y

(9-49y^2) =                                  3 * 3 * 7 * 7 * y * y

(3-7y) = 1 * 3 * 1 * 7 * y = 1 * 1 * 3 * 7 * y

When I combine the three factors above I then have: 1 * 1 * 3 * 3 * 7 * 7 * y * y. Where do I go from from here or am I way off track here?

Love is the battery of life....

Hi Gypsy, ------- How are you ? This time you have got it all wrong. (3+7y) stands for itself (can’t be divided to smaller parts). (9-49y^2) can be written as: (3+7y) * (3-7y) and (3-7y) stands for itself too. There is no LCM for all 3 of them….. But the LCM for the first 2 expressions is: (3y+7) and the LCM for the last two expressions is (3y-7). ------ Best regards,
