My agent delayed adding liability coverage for a second home on my umbrella after I requested it be effective when the purchase closed. The agent who is over my agent took care off it after I got upset when it became apparent that it had not been done. He said he did not want me to pay for the delayed coverage so he would make it effective that day. I asked that he make it effective the day I asked for originally. When it came through it was not dated back to the closing date. This whole month or so I had service people doing upgrades painting etc., and my guess is I have no recourse should any one of these service people have a claim that they were hurt at our home. What should I do if anything? The house closed 7/17/09. I just brought considerable business to this company in June, 2009 and feel this is wrong the way it was handled. Thank You, Larry
