Is 30-day notice an eviction?

Under the SERVICEMEMBERS CIVIL RELIEF ACT, is a 30 day notice ending tenancy an eviction subject to section 301 of the SCRA?
I understand that section 301 applies to evictions, but I am not clear on whether my proposed action constitutes an eviction addressed by the SCRA.  When I have a non-military tenant who is on a month-to-month tenancy, IAW state law I may give the tenant a 30 day notice that the tenancy will end at the end of the month. I usually do not think of this as an "eviction".
My queston is: if that tenant were a military member can I end the tenancy by the same means – providing a 30 day notice – or is this considered an "eviction" covered by section 301 of SCRA?
