2000 Acura TL. Feels like the parking brake is on SOMETIMES when I try to drive it in reverse. I replaced the Emergency brake cables, and it still does it. I put the car on a lift and the wheels move freely. Any ideas or similar problems
the problem may be in the transmission. Some of the automatic transmission shops will diagnose the transmission for free. I would try more than one place and compare their recommendations. You may only need to have the transmission flushed and new fluid added. Don't just drain and replace about 3 or 4 quarts. Most shops can pump out most of the old fluid, change the filter and refill the system for less than $200.
