1932 ford ignition system problem

I am trying to start the engine in my 1932 ford phaeton v-8. I installed a new 6v bat. Cable connections are good. I had spark at first and the engine was firing and was trying to run. This engine has not run in over 35 years. The engine then died and i have not had any spark since. I replaced the ign. Coil with a reman. Unit and replaced the condensor with a new unit. I still have no spark. Please help !!

good evening

it is impossible to give an answer from a distance but before you start to replace parts get a volt meter and check for continuity and resistance on every wire and bolt. there is not much under the hood of any 1932.

check for cracked distributor cup also on some of the old cars up to the 50's the positive was the body opposite from today's cars.

do you have the wiring sachem. also deferent reading between the old parts and the new parts.
